Lighting Direction
As Lighting Director I led the lighting department for the summer mainstage production of Mamma Mia at the Bluestem Amphitheater in Moorhead, MN. Oversaw the full implementation of Jack Mehler’s lighting design and set electrics. Upgraded and expanded the venue’s lighting package to better support current and future productions. Recruited, hired, and managed the production lighting staff and student apprentices, overseeing all academic components of the apprenticeship program. Developed new partnerships with local organizations and schools to strengthen community ties and support student engagement. Managed department finances and scheduling, coming in under budget and ahead of all production deadlines.
