ABOUT:
I wanted to create a condensed 20-minute version of A Doll’s House set in the modern digital age. Inspired by the influence of social media and the hypnosis of surveillance capitalism prevalent in my life — I decided to re-modernize the definitive work of “realism” theatre in the most present way I could. Nora became a vehicle for the modern woman, who is still subjected to the patriarchal, materialistic, and cultural suppression relevant to the original production, but with the added entrapment of our digital spaces and lives.
